Hi I’ve had no problems with my kadjar up until today we drove 10 miles to the local supermarket when I got there the radio wouldn’t turn off And the sat nav screen froze.so I decided to drive home as I didn’t want to get a flat battery.on the way back my partner kept her finger on the radio button and it eventually went off.now seems fine and hasn’t done it again.

It's been a glitch and by pressing the off button for a few seconds have rebooted the Rlink2.

surely it would switch off when you got out and locked it.

opening the door is usually enough, cuts the supply. Given what you did you may have lost your customised settings to all things that run through RLink, eg, don't rely on the parking sensors until you have been through the menu

Oh really they seem to be working ok to be honest

This is the joy of the RLink system, sometimes it sets to default and sometimes it doesn't, parking sensors are probablt on by default, just need to check, other stuff like speed alerts etc CAN be disabled by holding the radio/master reset button down.

Quite agree with you, if you discount RLink which is the bugbear especially in early cars, then there are very few serious issues. Let's face it having a chassis and engine tranny from a car that's been around since 2007 has bypassed any serious snags.  It's frustration rather than serious complaint, had Renault have tried just that little bit harder what is a very good car could have been superb.

I'll be looking again in a years time and rumour has it by then a revamped or at least facelifted Kadjar should be available so still on my very short shortlist.;)
