HI

Kadjar went to Renault leicester yesterday requested they investigate no audible warning for speed cameras only visual  answer I got was It's a known fault they have other Renaults in the workshop, answer they tell me is Renault is aware and investigating no timeline. Strange because one minute it worked now it doesn't only a visual warning.

Told them this is the most annoying thing on the car the Rlink. When I viewed a Kadjar in the showroom the clock display was an analogue multi colour display when I asked the salesman he could not show me how to change the clock display any help on either problem, like I told the service manager I wont hold my breath on Renault sorting the problem.

Thanks

Thanks

Well it makes a change from the usual "hmm, we've not seen that before".  However, it doesn't really matter, they seem incapable of fixing these issues when they see them for either the 1st or the 21st time, Blowing Raspberry emoticon (Playful and cheeky emoticons) in effect

Does the Nissan equivalent of our RLink2 in the QQ work more reliably than ours? Or is, as I suspect, their Forum full of complaints from disgruntled Nissan owners? You should know this Ted, I believe you are still a member of the QQ Forum.

Not sure, I haven't been on for a while although still a paid up member. Mine was the last of the Mk1 qashqai and the system has changed so not sure but you have prompted me to take a look.

Only a quick scan but they didn't seem to have the issues with their Connect 3 system that Renault have and folks that asked for the post 2015 updates got them on request.

I think Nissan developed their new system over a much longer period than Renault had chance to, the old version qashqai ran for 7 years almost unchanged and was very popular, still is. They weren't going to jeopardize that by an ill thought out main control unit.

1.2 turbo petrol engines self detonating seems to be a bigger grouse on there.
