Hey chap less of the attitude , you stated that some times street names are there and sometimes they are not .. I said that when I use a tom tom the street name are there, for reference... if your looking for a point of reference or a street.. enough said .. .. so not saying your rubbish or your comment is rubbish.. your the one who got the wrong end of the stick.!!!!!!!!

That’s why taxi drivers don’t use the kadjar for taxis. The street name display is crap !

ive just had the latest update too so it’s still the same. Yet if you enter the street name it takes you there and displays the street name.

I would have thought that would have been changeable through the level of detail. Or. The zoom factor.

I think what Renault are doing is a con  !!!

your forced to use their system either way ?

you can’t replace and if you don’t subscribe your stuck with out of date maps.

Id never buy a Renault again

And what would you buy? Name a brand, where things work differently...

Why would you need to see street names? Just enter the place you want to go and follow the instructions.

In a matter of fact, we've got some Kadjar taxis, though there are quite a few taxis in general in our austrian town of 60 000 people :D . I promise to take a picture and post it here, the next time I see one.

He has a point, and a good one, why show streets you aren't on, (because that's what it does), but not the ones you're on??????????

I notice that your road surfaces are just as good as ours. ;)

:D:D Total disaster. The highways are no better. Despite town streets and highways, the secondary roads are really good. 15 miles south - the italian and slovenian highways are perfect, but all other roads are bad. (I'm just at the junction of the three borders and travel a lot in all the three countries).

If you want to know what street you're on, why not use the "where am i?" option on the menu?

+1 Exactly. Just noticed it few hours ago, but forgot to mention it! So far I was only checking it for the altitude and the country rules. Today saw the street name in the middle ;)

Totally agree that it's a flawed system - because it's totally pointless to be driving along a feeder road in a new part of town, knowing that it's going to be tricky for the satnav to get it right so looking for street names, only to find some random dead end close somewhere off to the right and sometimes not even connected to the road you are on, is the only street name displayed!

Doing that is worse than displaying no street names  at all! Bonkers, though hardly something to be basing your next choice of car on!

Sad before on this post I have a tom Tom one not been updated since 2010 and is a better unit, cannot understand why Renault would use tom Tom technology and not give the driver the best unit it could......

Because TomTom had 4 guaranteed updates a year for £27 a year ( now free for life I think )  paid to TomTom's bank account . Whereas you now pay Renault £79 for maybe 2 updates a year ? Points on Greedometer = 10 , Points on CustomerSeviceometer = 0 ;)

I know I can update it just never got around to doing it ... it is greed on renaults part the cost of a new car and 1 yrs updates is not enough. You would have thought 4yrs map updates when you have a service plan keeps it all with in the warranty....  Never mind still love the car..
