Updating R-link

My Kadjar is on a 16 plate and today I parked up alongside a 67 plate Kadjar and noticed that the kid in the car had the r-link on. The screen was completely different to mine. It looked modern, the layout was smarter and sleeker and just looked better.

Is this something we can do ourselves by updating the SD card or is it something that has to be done by the Dealer?

Cheers!

There are 2 styles for the RLInk screen positive and negative.  Go to settings and select Display, then select Central display

Select “Negative skin” or “Positive
skin” to change the appearance of
the touchscreen display.

Then choose which one you want, I  am sure the one you saw was the Positive one,  anyways give it a go see what you think

The screen is fully customisable, colours, background, layout.  It’s a case if going into the settings and playing around until  you find a layout you like.

The 67 visually is no different from the 16 plate.

Oh and the r link2 doesn’t have an SD card
