Damaged crash beam

Well I've had my Kadjar for 2 weeks now and the other day I reversed over a small 6 inch high tree stump then as I went forward it pulled off my rear arch and misaligned the passengers side of the bumper.

Fast forward to today, I thought I'd take the bumper off and get it fitted again properly.

I was greeted by a twisted crash bar. This is too high up for the tree stump to have even damaged. Even if it was bigger, I'm sure reversing over something at 3mph and pulling forward again would never in a million years do this sort of damage?20180127_154250.thumb.jpg.5a877031252bd35e9ef2d7acaf6a2ebd.jpg

Luckily I hadn't broken any clips or tabs so I've managed to get the bumper back on nice and straight and it looks like it never happened.

Best get hold of a crash bar asap!

Wow I think the bumper would’ve showed signs of damage, wonder if it’s been done before and not replaced?

That's what I was thinking but all the stickers on the bumper have dates on that matches when the car was built. There's no sign of damage on the bumper at all so I'm glad it all clipped back in find but I'm struggling to believe that something that physically couldn't have touched the beam in any way has done that!
