Yes that's what it looks like, just wonder if it's chemical based that's caused it. Take it these nothing untoward your cleaning process that may have dripped.
Also recent service I thought of oil dropped on it?
Have you tried auto sol or something like it on a test area, I know it's plastic chrome....

Just like a water mark tried a little rub with finger but won't remove the mark

Could it be salt or grit marks from the winter gritting? I've noticed 2 stone chips on my bonnet and one on the front Renault badge. Grrr!
