  1. i have recieved a letter from renault the car is a 1.5 diesel. as a valued customer we want you to have the best experience with your vehicle. we constantly monitor all our vehicles and seek to improve their performance. groupe renault has recently deployed software developments to reduce emmisions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) from its diesel euro 6b engines in real life driving conditions which has been applied to vehicles produced in our factories since since summer 2016. the update is a simply re-programming of your vehicles engine computer which will be carried out during your next routine servicing free of charge. this will have no impact on performance or fuel consumtion. have you heard about this can i refuse to have it done will i have any come back if it causes a problem with driveability fuel consumption or reliability. thanks
