  1. I got the same message - with the same result!
  2. Street speed limits sign

I'm unclear if this comment has a bearing on this discussion, but here goes anyway! I had a brand new Megane as a courtesy car a week or so ago, and yes it was picking up the signs, but - unlike my early Kadjar - also displayed 70 on motorways and dual carriageway roads where there were 'National Speed Limit' signs. Presumably it was getting these from the mapping. Is this an RLink2 feature, or something else? Tapatalk puts this signature here, not me!
  3. Air / heating system

But - I see your 'auto' light is on. I think the auto function over-rides every other setting. The heating/cooling on the K is the least intuitive and possibly the least useful of any modern car I've owned! Tapatalk puts this signature here, not me!
  4. Speed sign recognition

And also are dependent on whether you are towing or not Sent from my brain to my iPad using my fingers and Tapatalk
  5. Renault model year changes

Your link above just brings up the search page with results in English. I tried the same search on Google and all I found was the announcement that the Algerian distributor was making a petrol automatic available. There was a YouTube video that I CBA to watch as well. There's not a lot wrong with Google translate + a bit of common sense (it got me through my French degree at any rate[emoji33]) Sent from my brain to my iPad using my fingers and Tapatalk
  6. Flickering Reversing Camera Display

Ive had my K just over a year, and, yes, every so often I will get a flickering image. It's so intermittent that there's no point in trying to show the workshop. I've (sadly) stopped worrying about it. Sent from my brain to my iPad using my fingers and Tapatalk
  7. Change Theme

The audible blind spot detection is quite scary when it goes off - it took me a while to work out what it was as it only ever seemed to happen when I was close to motorway barriers in road works! You /really/ don't want an audible warning every time something is in your blind spot! The lack of electric seat memory was a real let down for me. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. How many miles left in tank?

Never seen that on my petrol one. My 'full' range is generally between 450 - 465miles Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Keycard?

My key will not work if it is next to my mobile phone. It must be an issue with different makes / configurations of phone. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Green lines

The noise (I describe it as a fart) is intended to wake you up if you have slumbered and crossed a white line unintentionally. I've had to relearn to /always/ signal when changing lanes - something I was told not to do when I did a little bit of advanced driver training many years ago. There's also a very loud shrill warning sound I've only experienced twice in 8 months and I'm still not certain what it is - I think it occurs when you get too close to a motorway barrier at speed - for example in roadworks. I'm not sure if that's connected to the lane departure warning system or the side detectors, but it's certainly alarming! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Mobile App

Somewhere on the forum is my (scathing) review of this apology for an app Sent from my Xtouch using Tapatalk
  12. How do you rate your dealer?

Renault Leicester (Abbey Lane) - top notch. Very tight fisted as regards deals & offers, but very helpful service department, always offered a courtesy car, and always been ready to listen to concerns. The car has been washed and vacuumed each time I've taken it there. Only gripe: it's impossible to park! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Update:With the control set to "off" (all heating lights off, after pressing the left hand button) and the vents set to 'open', at 65mph there was no air coming through the vents on my car. You may have a fault. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. The heating/ ventilation system is in my opinion a weak point of the car - I think I was spoiled with Peugeot's excellent climate control in my last two cars. I can't get the temperature comfortable and get it to stay comfortable. The auto setting never seems to send the air-flow where it's needed, but my dealer (who I have confidence in) assures me it is working correctly. I'm going for a 'fast A road' journey shortly, so I'll check on the blast through the vents with everything off! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Do you really mean "when AC is turned off"? I ask because using the AC button will only chill the air flow. You can reduce the air flow to almost nothing by turning the heating/ventilation system itself off using the On/Off button on the left of the control panel. It's impossible to seal the cabin, and while the car is moving you will always get some small amount of air coming in, and that's probably desirable. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
