  1. I think the garage might have confused miles with kilometres 😀😁
  2. Prep for selling the KJ

Years ago I had a Nissan Sunny which I had 'added' extra bits. I went to sell the car and the dealer told me that he would reduce the price unless I had the bits removed. Suffice to say I went to another dealer but the story was the same. Learnt a lot from that.
  3. Can the R Link change the car's performance ?

A third party altering and monitoring our cars ?. Knowing what we are doing and when[emoji3][emoji16]. THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE...... Sent from my SM-T560 using Tapatalk
  4. Can't decide on s nav or sig nav

Sat navs are not intelligent. They cannot think for themselves, they cannot see and they cannot understand routes. The algorithms have probably been made up by a young software engineer who hasn't even had a wet dream yet!!! Sent from my SM-T560 using Tapatalk
  5. Can't decide on s nav or sig nav

Yes maybe a bit too much reliance on technology. Sent from my SM-T560 using Tapatalk
  6. Can't decide on s nav or sig nav

I think you have to do that with all sat navs, they are there as a guide only and not to be relied upon. Mk1 eyeballs following road signs cannot be substituted. Call it old fashioned but that is or should be number 1 rule. Sent from my SM-T560 using Tapatalk

  9. Can't decide on s nav or sig nav

1964. It doesn't irk me at all. If it did I wouldn't be on the forum but there is an awful lot of complaining about trivia. Sent from my SM-T560 using Tapatalk
  10. Can't decide on s nav or sig nav

Agree Pottery. Have been in technical support for 15 years and there is an awful lot of people who can't be bothered to read a manual first or ask questions. Much prefer to replace a car because they don't have the right alerts coming. Give me strength, I was at a Renault garage recently and a customer came in complaining that everything was wrong on the R Link 2 and wanted his money back. The garage owner took 20 mins to show the customer on how the system works. He acknowledged that there are problems (don't we all) but a lot is down to not activating things in the menu, [emoji3][emoji16][emoji23] Sent from my SM-T560 using Tapatalk
  11. Can't decide on s nav or sig nav

All we seem to get are people threatening to change cars because of perceived problems with R Link 2. FFS it is an infotainment system that is all. The actual car is superb with good mpg. Had it nearly a year now and hadn't missed a beat. Isn't that more important? Sent from my SM-T560 using Tapatalk

Same here Marc, I guess we are the lucky ones [emoji3][emoji16][emoji23] Sent from my SM-T560 using Tapatalk

  14. New Car needs a dash cam

Yes the braking system warning seems a bit of a problem. Sent from my SM-T560 using Tapatalk
  15. New Car needs a dash cam

I think you have nailed it. It happened to me once and putting foot on clutch didn't work. This may explain it. I haven't used the stop/ start since then [emoji3] Sent from my SM-T560 using Tapatalk
