  1. Rubbish SatNav ?

Speed and camera warnings no longer work on mine at all. As for the Sat Nav it could not find a post code in Leeds and we drove past it twice. It also wanted me two drive through the middle of a building in Liverpool docks on a road that was not there, after sending us on a 2 mile circle to end up back where we started. The maps are about 2 years out of date.
  2. Bose sound system quality?

I find the Bose at most average. Certainly not as good as my previous two cars. My old Chrysler Boston system makes the Bose sound like a Bush/Alba radio! Very disappointing certainly not worth the extra.
  3. Stream Spotify Through Bluetooth

This is one of the few things that actually works on my r-link. With Bluetooth on and phone paired open Spotify and play music. Make sure your audio source on the r-link is set to Bluetooth (Button on the right hand side behind steering wheel labelled audio) you may have turn up the volume to max on your phone.
  4. Rubbish-Link 2

It appears that my r-link has now decided to play media in the correct playlist order! I'm sure there is some little B sat behind the screen trying to wind me up!
  5. Rubbish-Link 2

Much prefer my Thunderbird, just a speedo, clock and fuel gauge. Still get from A to B but much more fun and a lot more admirers!
  6. Rubbish-Link 2

OOOppps seemed to have posted this three times, must be r-link disease.
  7. Rubbish-Link 2

I have had my Kadjar since December and the r-link seems to be getting worse. The navigation seems to be about 100yds out, was told that a road was closed and needed to take a 20 mile detour, the road was open and had been for 2 weeks! Got stuck in 10mile motorway jam, yet the navigation was saying there was no jam. Was getting warnings about fixed cameras that I know were removed 3 years ago, and now getting no warnings. No data connection. No traffic alerts on the radio also now started to play all music on shuffle even when turned off! No indicator volume on the menu. Have updated maps but they are still out of date. No longer seems to be an option to enter a postcode on the navigation. It seems one by one things are disappearing into cyber space, maybe one day the car will vanish as well!

  10. Real world mpg

Now done 3200 miles and still only getting average 45 mpg mixed town and motorway careful driving. I get 50 mpg driving up top Scotland at 70 mph. Not brilliant. As stated before I used to 55 mpg out of my 7 year old 2 Ltr Chrysler
  11. Recall.

Not been on the forum for sometime, but have just received my letter for a urgent recall with free boot liner. Car was already booked in for problems with the R-link, no data connection no phone connection and getting stuck on speed camera alert repeating it's self every 5 seconds until I stopped and restarted the engine. The dealers seemed not to know about any updates or any recall! Nothing seems to have changed, same old problems with little or no answers from Renault.
  12. Real world mpg

I used to nail it some times in the Chrysler. In the Kadjar I'm taking it easy and have good scores on the Eco scores, I'm scared to nail in this as the mpg would be down in the 20s. 110dci Sig Nav flame red with Techno, lighting and leather packs
  13. Real world mpg

I'm getting an average of 43mpg, this is mainly around town, about the same as my old 2.ltr Chrysler Sebring. This has been with ECO on. I think I'll try it with ECO off. I was expecting to get better than my 7 year old Yankee car!
  14. Drivers Seat and its comfort

I've had mine for 3 months now and still I'm trying to get the right position. I'm 18 stone 6ft and long legged. If I push the seat back for my legs the steering wheel will not pull out far enough. Also the seat seems a little narrow at the top which seems to push my shoulders forward like I'm stooping. I find that my shoulders and arms ache after a while.
  15. This seems to be the norm for Renault and their dealers
